Welcome back to bling! I’m Rianna and I usually post stuff about fashion. But today, for my free write, I decided to do something new! I am going to share with you all a guide to ACNH. All though I am not a animal crossing guru expert. I have learned some tips and tricks on how to achieve your dream island! So hope you enjoy, maybe I’ll do more of these posts just for fun to update you all on my island. Let’s get started.
finding your theme
Your theme is the whole aesthetic on your island. Here are some examples I made to help you! Choose the one that you like or the one that fits you the most!
Cottage-core is very nature-y. Usually furnitures are made out of wood, a lot of Cedar trees and flowers! Creators also use a lot of custom paintings for dirt and grass to make it look really cute. I really love this theme, If your decorating your island and wanting to make it like this, I hope you found my inspo board helpful. =)
Kid-core is the opposite. It’s very colorful and mostly kid stuff for furniture! Usually, you can use any color. But the popular ones are hot pink, lime green, bright orange, and red. A lot of players also use custom designs to bring their kid-core aesthetic to life. I’m a big fan of this theme as well. Hope this helped!
Those are my themes for now, If none of these are your style, I will make a part two with just themes in the future! Now moving on.
set a routine + know what your doing
Every time you play animal crossing you do a routine, right? You check what you need to do from Tom Nook, collect Nook Miles, dig for fossils, check what’s in Nook Cranny.. Now you see, this is what exactly what you should do when decorating your island! Let’s say your gonna build a park and you don’t know where to start. What you can do is build it in different times. Like, your gonna build the outline first, then the next day your gonna start making the slides, then another day the benches. You wanna do this until your done then you can start working on your next build. Yes it takes a lot time, but this way your less stressed out! If you work way better with doing it all just in one day, then go for it! Do what works for you.
